Elementary Read Across America Spirit Week
We would like to congratulate two of our Jr. High students for their hardwork and achievements! Jocelyn Atkins and Addison Storie were both selected as winners of the Patriot's Pen essay contest. This year's theme was "How Are You Inspired by America?". Jocelyn was selected by our local VFW Post 3168 while Addison was selected by VFW Post 2654 in Moberly. Both Jocelyn and Addison attended ceremonies where they received certificates and awards for their hardwork in this year's contest. Way to go!
As a continued celebration of National FFA Week, our chapter toured local agricultural businesses. On the list was Dairy Lane Feeds, Ozark Fisheries, K & K Meat Processing, and 4J Land and Cattle. Tomorrow we finish out the week with Drive Your Tractor to School, Camo Day, and Ag Olympics!
