Registration for Summer School 2022 for students entering grades 9-12.
8th grade parents, this is a great opportunity for incoming freshman to get a jump start on credits, and to open up their schedules for more opportunities.

Athletic Events for the week:
The Girls Soccer Team will be playing in a jamboree at Branson today. Their games will be 4:30, 5:00 & 6:00.
The baseball team will no longer have a game this Friday. We will be rescheduling this game for a later date.

There will be optional baseball practice starting at 4:00 meet in the high school gym. There will be optional soccer practice at 3:30 meet in the high school gym. Golf will not practice today.

Due to inclement weather conditions the Laquey School District will not be in session today Friday, March 11. Thank you.

Elementary Yearbooks are now on sale. They are $11 each. They are softcover and in color. You can send in money with an order form or order and pay online at inter-state.com/order and enter 66820G.

Each elementary student who raised their Evaluate test scores got a piece of duct tape to tape Mrs. Storie to the wall! Good job kiddos and good job Mrs. Storie for being such a fun principal!




Huge Thank you to the Route 66 Brass Band from the 399th Army Band came today to perform for the district.





Hornet Club is bringing a Hunter Safety Course back to Laquey for the upcoming turkey season. The course will run from March 21-24 from 3:30-5:00pm and the skills session will be March 25th from 4:00-8:00pm.
Now is the time to get your child registered to be apart of this class. Students must be 11 years old when registering to be apart of the course. There is no cost to the course, just show up, learn, do the practical skill session and walk away with more knowledge and your course certificate. You MUST attend the skills session in order receive your certificate.

Congratulations to Sophomore Matthew Mendoza and Senior Rebekah Shaffer! Today LTC Pinzon presented them with the Army Value Leadership Award.
Mathew was acknowledged for Honor and
Rebekah Shaffer was acknowledged for Selfless Service.
LTC Pinzon presented them both with certificates along with a challenge coin on behalf of Fort Leonard Wood and the Commanding General.

The Soccer Jamboree scheduled for this Friday 3/11 in Branson has been moved to Monday 3/14 due to the forecasted weather. Our girls will play three 25 minute matches at 4:30, 5:00 and 6:00.

First grade teacher, Mrs Wolff organized a project for each student in her classroom to receive a free book once a month through donations from the Laquey Community and beyond. The donations not only covered her classroom, but several other Elementary classrooms as well. Thank you Mrs Wolff for organizing this project and thank you donors for giving!

It's our Dr. Seuss themed week in the Elementary. One of our opportunities for students to stand out was guessing how many goldfish were in a bag, there were 1540 goldfish in the bag. The 1st place winner was Brendon Hubbard with a guess of 1543 goldfish and the runner up Avereigh Lees with a guess of 1533.
