Laquey Elementary is excited to have Penguin Patch back in the school building this year! Students will be introduced to Penguin Patch Friday, December 3rd with their classroom. Each classroom will be shopping next week. Your students' shopping time is on the flyer and budgeting envelope coming home Friday, December 3rd. All items cost between $.25 and $13.00. While Penguin Patch is introduced to your students we will talk about making a shopping list and budgeting. Use the Budget envelope to discuss who your child will be shopping for. Children say the best things! Sit down one on one and ask them who they want to shop for and how much they have to spend during the holiday shop. Their sweet response will make you smile. Parents, please be sure to remind your student to bring their budget envelope to school on their shopping day. We suggest cash, but checks can be made out to Laquey R-V School.

Good News Call of the Day!
This student does a great job of showing responsibility. He always gets his work done first before reading on Epic or playing on Prodigy. In the hall he has moved himself when he knew that he was standing beside someone that he would talk to . He is eager to help and raises his hand when he has questions. Thank you for being responsible!

Mr. Wood’s class is talking about physical changes. When making slime when go through physical changes when you mix baking soda with water and it dissolves then add glue and create another physical change but then when we add the borax activator the chemical reaction emits heat, odor, and other properties of the once water/baking soda/glue.
The students have had a great time withy this hands on learning!!!
