Notice to Families: Free and Reduced-Price Meal Applications
Dear Families,
We understand that many Federal employees and families may be experiencing financial
challenges at this time. If your household income has been affected due to furlough, reduced
hours, or other changes, your children may now qualify for free or reduced-price school meals.
We want to remind you that meal benefit applications can be submitted at any time during
the school year. Changes in income, employment status, or household circumstances may make
your family eligible for these benefits. Completing a new application ensures your student
continues to have access to healthy, nutritious meals at school.
To apply, please complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application as soon as possible.
Once approved, your eligibility will remain in effect for the entire school year.
Applications are available in any of our school offices or online on Infinite Campus. If you need
assistance filling out the form or have questions, please contact Karla Fleschute Food Service
Director 573-765-3716 Ext 430 or kfleschute@laqueyhornets.us.
We encourage all families impacted by the current situation to take advantage of this important
program.
Sincerely,
Karla Fleschute
