Our High School Principal and fearless leader, Mr. Dustin Matlock, was selected for Administrator of the Year for the Missouri Association of Student Councils. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about him, but a quote from the nomination sums it up best.
“Mr. Matlock has been an unwavering supporter of LHS and a true advocate for student leadership. His belief in our students’ abilities and his willingness to empower them to take initiative have made all of the difference in their success. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our students have every opportunity to grow and thrive. He listens to their ideas, values student voice, and encourages creativity and innovation. He is always there with enthusiasm and trust no matter the occasion. We truly could not do what we do without his constant encouragement and belief in us. Mr. Matlock embodies the spirit of what it means to be a supportive and student-centered administrator. Laquey High School is incredibly lucky to have him--and we can confidently say he is the best administrator ever!”
