In the interest of the safety of our students and staff, and out of an abundance of caution, the HS Girls Basketball game scheduled for tonight @ Chadwick has been postponed. No reschedule date has been set yet.

We're thrilled to announce that for the 2nd Quarter, the Elementary Staff Member of the Quarter is Mrs. Tina Davis! Nominated by her peers and selected as the Staff Member of the Quarter, Mrs. Tina has truly gone above and beyond for the school district. Her dedication to ensuring our school is clean and safe as well as her friendliest to all staff is much appreciated. Just like our outstanding students of the quarter, Mrs. Tina got her hand painted to leave her colorful mark on our school. Congratulations Mrs. Tina on this well-deserved recognition!

This year's game will be on Feb. 6 vs. Richland. Funds from this year’s event will be given to John Davis. Mr. Davis is the father of Diane Wolff, a Laquey Elementary Teacher. Her father has Stage 3 lung cancer. He is currently hospitalized and doing double treatments of radiation 5 days a week. Once released from the hospital, he will start chemo once a week.

The first round of the Belle Boys Varsity Tournament scheduled for tonight has been moved to this Wednesday @ 5:30 p.m. against Newburg @ Belle. Revised brackets are attached.

For Laquey archers: We will NOT be attending the tournament in Conway tomorrow January 13th. Unfortunately, our bus driver is sick and with school being out today we are not able to schedule for another, combined with the uncertainty of later road conditions and extreme temps.
