
The Laquey FFA received a generous donation of seeds from Baker Creek Seed Co. in Mansfield, MO. The chapter plans to help elementary students plant a garden next spring with these seeds.




Laquey Student Council Members traveled to Rolla High School to attend District Convention! Elections were held for officer school positions and Laquey won the 2nd Vice President position. This means our StuCo members will have a role in planning the 2024 South Central District Convention!

We have had some bus difficulties on the west side of Springfield. everyone is safe and we are waiting for a bus to come and pick us up and finish the trip... because of this the game has been put to a delayed start to around 6:00 or 6:15. Again, everyone is safe

Mr. Helm's 8th grade Creative Writing students wrote letters to staff members thanking them for the impact they have made on their lives. Students really put a lot of thought and time into their letters and teachers were overjoyed to receive them! There were some smiles, laughs, and tears as staff read their letters! (part 2)

Laquey FFA held its first official chapter meeting. The members started off carving pumpkins. The officers set the agenda complete with opening and closing ceremonies. To conduct their business, the members are learning parliamentary procedures. They voted to hold a Barnwarming and have a float in the Christmas parade.










What a great Cross Country meet! Congratulations to our boys on medaling and personal best times and the incredible come behind, Cinderella story Frisco League Champions- Laquey XC Girls!
