Bid Opportunity
The Boys Soccer game, scheduled for September 6, 2023, against Logan-Rogersville at Laquey has been canceled. No reschedule has been made at this time.
Because of the excessive heat, the Softball Home opener, scheduled for this Friday, August 25th, against Macks Creek, has been rescheduled to September 19th @ 5:00 p.m.

The Boys Soccer Jamboree scheduled for today at Willard has been canceled because of the excessive heat.
Mr. Aaron Thier plays an instrumental role in his positions at Laquey High School by providing guidance and mentorship to not just his students but, his student athletes on both girls and boys soccer teams that he coaches after school. Having a Veteran spouse, he is able to help his students that are struggling with making the biggest life choice after graduation. Aligned with our stations recruiters and life experiences he assisted our station by explaining the many jobs and opportunities that the United States Army can provide. Upon the arrival of one of our recruiters, Mr. Thier welcomed him into the school working side by side during a school event which drew the attention of 3 of Laqueys students, 2 of which are still working with a recruiter to enlist upon graduation. Recieved an award for this from the Kansas region recruiting command during the SOP annual meeting.
Coach Thier was also named Class 1 Public Schools Girls Soccer Coach of the Year for 2023!
