3rd grade students had their first fun Friday today!

4th grade students looked at onion peels through a microscope and a magnifying glass today.

Good News Call of the Day! This student was a great friend by helping another student open the bathroom door without being asked by a teacher! Great job!

Good luck to our Soccer and Softball team as today is their first game of the season! ⚽️Boys soccer will play in College Heights at 4:30pm. 🥎Girls softball will play at Mack’s Creek at 5:00pm! 🖤❤️ GO HORNETS! ❤️🖤

*ATTENTION HORNET CLUB PARENTS* Preschool and Kindergarten pickup will now be at the OLD District Office building. (The white building next to the baseball field) Please remember pickups are from 4:15-6:00 and please bring your ID with you. If you have older siblings you will have to pick them up at the normal HC doors. Thank you for understanding and being flexible!

Day 4. 4th grade students had a fun game of kickball in PE today.

Good News Call of the Day! This student was kind and gave a black crayon to a friend that did not have a black crayon! Way to show kindness!!

Day 3. 6th graders were working on Interactive Notebooks and collaborating with each other on a project.

Some students will be coming home with KidAccount cards, all other students will bring his/her cards home tomorrow. These cards are used in the Elementary pickup line, please ensure the person picking up your child has the card.

Day 2. Today was full of fun on the PreK playground and students in Kindergarten learning about expectations.

Day 1. 2nd and 3rd grade students drank some Jitter Juice today and 1st grade students were following the BUZZ by taking turns drinking at the water fountain. We are ready for day 2!

Congratulations to our Hornet Soccer team who swept the Jamboree today in Willard! They had a: 3-0 win against Fair Grove 2-0 win against Willard 1-0 win against Hillcrest GO HORNETS! 🖤❤️⚽️

Laquey JH/HS started the year off with a Welcome Back assembly hosted by STUCO. Mr. Matlock went over some policies and procedures, as well as encouraged the students with his desire for the school year. STUCO hosted a freeze dance game, introduced officers and members as well as had a battle for the SPIRIT STICK! Juniors took the Spirit stick today! Welcome back Hornets!!

Elementary Pickup Procedures Takes place outside of the Elementary Gym 2 lanes, K-2nd inside lane, 3rd-6th outside lane. If picking up multiple kids from both groups, use the outside lane. Stay in your vehicle.

Over the last two nights, Mrs. Fortner along with the sponsors hosted Senior night and Freshmen orientation. She gave information that will help the students be successful this upcoming school year! Thank you Mrs. Fortner!
