FFA Fact of the day: The FFA emblem consisting of five symbols is representative of the history, goals and future of the organization. As a whole, the emblem covers the broad spectrum of FFA and agriculture.
- The cross section of the ear of corn provides the foundation of the emblem, just as corn has historically served as the foundation crop of American agriculture. It is also a symbol of unity, as corn is grown in every state of the nation.
- The rising sun signifies progress and holds a promise that tomorrows will bring a new day glowing with opportunity
- The plow signifies labor and tillage of the soil, the backbone of agriculture and the historic foundation of our country's strength.
- The owl is a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. The advisor is stationed by the owl. Our job as advisor is to provide advice and experience when the need arises. It is important to remember that FFA is a student-led organization.
Tomorrow is Dress Like Your Future Day!!!

Happy National FFA Week!! Interesting fact: the blue is taken from the blue field of our nations flag and gold representing stems from the golden fields of ripened corn. Together the blue and gold provide the National FFA organization with unity!
Tomorrow is Camo Day! So wear your camo!

Third grade needs your help!
We are trying to collect a postcard from all 50 states. If you live in another state, or know someone that lives in another state and would be willing to send us one, we would appreciate it!
We are asking individuals to send us a state themed postcard (ex. Kansas might have a sunflower, California a beach, Maine a lighthouse, etc.), include a couple of facts about the state, a return address, and then mail the card to:
