Laquey Elementary is 100 days smarter! Our students and staff dressed up as 100 year olds today.





If you have registered to take the ACT Test at Laqeuy in April 2022, please check the email account you used to register and your ACT account as soon as possible. Due to minimal registrations for the Laqeuy Test Center, ACT has reassigned testing students to a different test center for the April 2, 2022 test date.

Laquey Elementary Read Across America Week


District basketball info:
There will be no games at Laquey today due to road conditions.
The tournament will continue Tomorrow the 26th with the two boys semi final games. The first game will be Eugene vs Stoutland at 5:30 followed by Richland vs Vienna at 7:00.
Both Championship games will be Monday the 28th with Newburg vs Crocker at 5:30 followed by the boys championship at 7:00.

Due to rural road conditions, the Laquey School District will not be in session tomorrow Friday, February 25th. Thank you and stay safe.

Due to inclement weather and road conditions, the Laquey School District will be closed tomorrow Thursday, the 24th. Stay safe!

Basketball Districts:
There will be no games at Laquey tonight due to the weather. Tonight’s games will be moved to Friday and Friday’s games will be moved to Saturday. Friday’s games will be played at 5:30 and 7:00. Times for Saturday have not been determined yet.

Due to the timing of inclement weather and since road temps are already so cold it is anticipated that roads will deteriorate quickly, therefore the Laquey School District will not be in session today, February 23rd. Thank you and stay safe!

Laquey Elementary had a lot of fun today on 2-22-22. Students worked on many different "2" activities and we had a school wide dance party at 2:22 that lasted exactly 2 minutes.

Senior Parents and students:
There are a lot of scholarships that have been forwarded to student emails with due dates coming up fast.
Parents please inquire with your Seniors to find the ones they qualify for and get them turned in. Some local scholarships have hard copies in the high school office take one and get them filled out and turned back in.

Due to the timing of the forecasted inclement weather of road temps dropping and ice accumulation the Laquey School District will not be in session today, February 17. Thank you.

The Blood drive scheduled for February 17th has been rescheduled for March 8th.

We need you for our final Blood Drive on Feb. 17! All donations stay local and it helps us earn a scholarship!
