Nurse Christie is mailing out immunization notifications for current students who will be entering into grades Kindergarten, 8th grade, and/or 12th grade for the 2021-2022 school year, who require additional immunizations. State law requires students to be properly immunized and provide verification or have an appropriate exemption card on file with the school nurse. 2021-2022 Revised Calendar
Tomorrow’s baseball game against Waynesville will start at 4:30. Don’t forget if you plan on attending you need to purchase tickets online.
Congratulations to Curtis Hendrix and Christopher Hendrix on being sworn in as members of the Laquey School Board. Curtis is serving his second term and this is Christopher's first term. We look forward to the next two years with them both.

Reminder that Wednesday April 21,2021 Sophomores will be taking the LAII EOC.
The LA 2 EOC has two parts. They will take the first part in the morning and the second part (the writing portion) after lunch, roughly 1 pm. We want to be sure that everyone has the full amount of time needed to do well. And hopefully a break in between will help too.
Remember to be on time as testing will begin at 8:30.
Free Sports Physicals will be offered at the school this Thursday 4/22 9:00am to 4:00pm. If your child needs a new physical please pick up a packet in the High School office, fill it out, and return it. This will allow us to create a schedule and things will run smoothly.

Tomorrow 4/21 is Soccer Senior night against Stover at 5:00.

Graduation information:
Mrs Marlin has sent an email to all graduates with information for graduation.
As of right now there is no limit on the number of guests you can invite to graduation.
Guests will not be allowed on the gym floor until after the ceremony.
Seniors will each receive a professional graduation photo. Photography packets will be available for purchase if you choose.
Masks and social distancing are encouraged for guests.
Rows will be reserved for parents and guardians.

Reminder that students will begin EOC testing Monday April 19, 2021. Testing will begin at 8:15, students need to be on time.
Government and Biology I will be testing on Monday the 19th.
Baseball tournament update:
New Bloomfield is unable to play on their field today due to weather conditions. California has been nice enough to allow us to finish the tournament on their turf field. The field is at California High School.
We will play Tipton for 7th place at 12:45.

The baseball team will be playing the 7th place game at New Bloomfield tomorrow at 12:45. They could not find an official for us to finish our game tomorrow. Since Lone Jack was beating us 1-0 they will be advanced to the consolation game and we will play for 7th. If anything changes I will post it here as soon as I find out.
The baseball game that started this evening has been postponed in the top of the third until tomorrow. Times will be posted as soon as they are given to us.
The baseball team lost to St. Elizabeth. We will play again at 5:30 at New Bloomfield.
Girls soccer senior night will be next Wednesday 4/21 at 5:00!

Soccer- Our girls play in the Stover Tournament this weekend. The will play Saturday 4/17 at 12:00 and again at 2:00.
Baseball- Tonight’s home baseball game will be Varsity only. Tomorrow 4/16 our boys play in the Calvary Lutheran Tournament. We play at 1:00. The outcome of that game will determine when we play next. I will post an update as soon as the game is over.
