Two Laquey FFA members earned special recognition during their week at FFA Camp. They were awarded the State Leadership Award which is only granted to camp attendees that participate in 13 different teams, committees, elective leadership sessions, and/or contests. This award can only be earned at FFA Camp. In order to earn this, they sacrificed free time and leisure activities and put in the work. Congratulations to Michael Franks and Tera Wiseman!

Laquey's afterschool program Hornet Club was approved for the 21st CCLC grant which provides before and after school time enrichment activities for our students!
We are approved for the grant for the next 5 years!!!

Congratulations to Gavin Shaw for his success at the Laclede County Fair. He won Grand Champion Natural Ewe, Grand Champion Natural Ram, Reserve Champion Crossbred Ewe, Reserve Champion senior showmanship for breeding class, and Grand Champion senior showmanship class.
