The 2022-2023 junior high/high school yearbooks have arrived. Pick up process is as follows:
If you are a CURRENT student of Laquey, you can pick them up from Mrs. Valdivia's class during LUNCH starting Friday November 3rd. They will not be handed out during passing periods or before lunch.
If you are a FORMER student of Laquey, you will be able to pick up your yearbook starting MONDAY NOVEMBER 6th.

Tonight our Laquey Boys Soccer Team will face Fair Grove in the start of their quest for the District Title. Game time is 4:00pm at the Laquey fields. Come out and support!

Veteran's Day is quickly approaching, ad we are working hard to create a Veteran's Day Assembly. This year's assembly will be held in person for grades 5-12 on Thursday, November 9th at 1:00pm in the high school gym. We will have a guest speaker, the Hornet Club choir will sing as well as our band perform. There will be a slideshow that will showcase our local veterans. If you would like to submit your photo, please follow the instructions in the picture.
We look forward to honoring our Veterans.
The Laquey FFA received a generous donation of seeds from Baker Creek Seed Co. in Mansfield, MO. The chapter plans to help elementary students plant a garden next spring with these seeds.
Laquey Student Council Members traveled to Rolla High School to attend District Convention! Elections were held for officer school positions and Laquey won the 2nd Vice President position. This means our StuCo members will have a role in planning the 2024 South Central District Convention!

Parents, you're cordially invited to our Halloween parties on Tuesday, October 31st at 2:00 PM. It's going to be a spooktacular time, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
But before you join the fun in the classrooms, please make sure to obtain a visitor pass from the office. To make this process as smooth as possible, we highly recommend pre-registering. You can conveniently do this during the upcoming parent-teacher conferences.
For pre-registration, kindly contact Mrs. Jamie in the Elementary Office at 573-765-3716. Mrs. Jamie will need the following information to ensure the safety of all our students:

Today the Laquey FFA hosted an Ag Literacy Day complete with a petting zoo! Every student in Kindergarten to 6th grade attended. Students got to handle the Missouri Dept. of Conservation fur collection, learned tractor safety, greenhouse production, and livestock production. Thank you to Jeff Browning for the use of his tractor!
