No cost for our Laquey Hornets 🏀 to show up and get better!
The Class of 2027 had a fantastic day at the river last week for their Senior Cookout! Thank you to Riverfront Campground for hosting us!
Please be aware that a planned, controlled burn will take place behind the school building today.
The local fire department has been notified, and all necessary safety precautions and monitoring protocols are in place. You may notice smoke in the immediate area throughout the day, but there is no cause for concern.

Spotlight on Excellence
This is a dedicated time each month during our School Board Meeting to celebrate students, staff members, and the community who make Laquey such a special place.
At the September Board Meeting, we acknowledged our Maintenance and Custodial Department.
While our halls are quiet over the summer, this team is working. Thanks to their dedication, our grounds are maintained, and every classroom floor, hallway, and common area has been freshly waxed and polished to welcome our students and staff back. They also successfully carried out numerous facility improvements throughout the summer.
This crew works through work orders submitted by staff—and just as impressively, they handle all the "unofficial" requests with patience and a smile as they walk past open classroom doors.
Our schools simply couldn't open their doors or function each day without their care, pride, and relentless work ethic.
Thank you to the Maintenance and Custodial Department for this well-deserved Spotlight on Excellence!
