Congratulations to our Laquey JH Boys Basketball Team that took their win in the first round of the Frisco League tournament. They beat Stoutland 39-28.
They will play their next game against Dixon tomorrow, Friday October 20, 2022 @ 5:45pm in Dixon.

Elementary End of the Quarter Assemblies will be held Friday, October 21st. Times will be as follows:
Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade - 9:00
2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade - 10:00
5th and 6th Grade - 10:45
All assemblies will be in the Elementary Gym. Parents are welcome to attend.

*UPCOMING COMMUNITY PROJECT - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!*
What: Working on the Pecan Trail to improve to a Fitness/Nature/Cross Country Course Trail.
When: This Saturday the 15th of October from 9-12 am
Who: Anyone who wants to help, especially those who want to build our community.
How: We will be making sandbags for the land bridge, hauling culvert, tamping down dirt, removing branches, clearing the stream.
Wear: You'll want to wear some old sturdy jeans and long sleeved shirt preferable
You will have to sign a consent form when you arrive!
Why: Because we rock. Also, there will be donuts and OJ when we finish!
