We’re so proud of our art program. Laquey School District placed 2nd in both the Junior High and High School at the Frisco League Art Competition. Thank you to our art teachers Mrs. Barr and Miss Affolter for all their work to make this event a success. Good morning! I wanted to let everyone know that we will have an NHS induction and Senior recognition ceremony on Wednesday, May 4th, at 6 pm. We would love to have you join us for the event. It is a great opportunity to support our NHS students and to commend them for their efforts.

IMPORTANT Information for the Parkway College Showcase tomorrow: NEW THIS YEAR! There are now 3 entrances to the Lou Fusz Soccer complex. Admission will be collected at the Central Main Entrance of the Lou Fusz Complex. Please remind all parents attending this weekend. Not informing spectators about admission and can cause traffic delays at the entrance. Admission will be $8 for adults, $5 for students. Each ticket is good for all the games that day. Parking on the grass across from the complex will result in being ticketed and/or towed at owners expense. The buses will enter the Main Central Entrance and park in the parking lot near Fields 4 and 5. The will exit out of the Field 4/5 exit. The entrance at Fields 7-10 will be exit only. (I have attached a map of the complex) Due to the large amount of rain near the south of the complex on Creve Coeur Mill road and Highway141, some parts of the road may have water on the road, Please remind all parents, players, bus drivers about this. Programs/Schedules will be digital this year. A flyer with a QR Code for all the info will be distributed at the gate. All games will follow MSHSAA rules. Due to limited time, NO Overtime will be played. The College Showcase uses a 3-man officiating system. We ask that all teams will walk out International Style with the officials to begin the match. All Showcase news,events, and weather updates will be on the www.parkwaycollegeshowcase.com website and on Twitter. Follow @pkwycshowcase on Twitter and Instagram. Attached is a pdf of the final schedule. Two trainers from Mercy will be on site. Look for the Mercy tents near Field 6/ Field 1, and in the middle between fields 7 through10. There will be no baseball game at Bourbon tonight due to field conditions. Practice will be from 3:30-5:00. The soccer team will play two games at Waynesville tonight. We will play Waynesville at 4:30 and Dixon after the Waynesville game. Thank you.

Good News Call of the Day! This student has been extra helpful to his teacher. Thank you for being such a great helper.

First grade teacher, Mrs Wolff organized a project for each student in her classroom to receive a free book once a month through donations from the Laquey Community and beyond. The donations not only covered her classroom, but several other Elementary classrooms as well. Thank you Mrs Wolff for organizing this project and thank you donors for giving!
