Tomorrow is the food giveaway here at our district!
Remember, this is open to ALL kids ages 3 yrs - 18 yrs old. Children do not have to be present but a parent or legal guardian must be the one to pick up the meals.
You can not pick up for other friends or family members. It starts at 3:15pm (we cannot serve even a minute before) and will run to 6:15pm or until all meals are gone.
Due to Parent/Teacher Conferences we will be located in the junior high parking lot. The picture has the flow we would like cars to come through. Thank you!

We are excited to announce that Laquey is going to be the recipient of a local partnership with AGCC to bring FREE FOOD to the children in the area! *This will be held EVERY THURSDAY until the end of the school year to help our students!*
The first giveaway will be this Thursday from 3:15pm-6:15pm. Please understand that this is government funded and there are rules and guidelines we are required to follow so that we can keep this program going. In addition, this is a new system for us, so we ask that you please be patient as we work our way through this giveaway.
Included are answers to questions we get asked all the time. If there are any additional questions, please message the church's Facebook page.
1. Where will this giveaway be held?
It will be held in the Laquey Elementary parking lot. There will be a refrigerated truck with a big label reading FREE FOOD FOR KIDS... I don't think you'll be able to miss it!
2. Do the kids have to attend Laquey School District to receive these meals?
No, this program is for ANY child between the ages of 3 yrs old through 18 yrs old.
3. What is in the grocery bags?
Each child will receive 7 meals, 7 snacks and 1 gallon of milk. You must take all items given.
*Please be aware that some items contain peanuts
4. Do kids have to be present?
No... but we will need the first and last names of each child receiving meals for the upcoming week.
5. Can you pick up for another family?
No, the guidelines of this program state that only the legal parent/guardian for the child(ren) can pick up.
6. I have to work during these times. Can someone deliver the groceries to me at work?
No, once again, due to the guidelines we have to follow, you can only receive food if you are there in person to get it for your child(ren).
7. What if I can't get there during these times?
I'm sorry, but we cannot serve outside of our designated time slot. We cannot start serving until exactly 3:15pm and we have to stop promptly at 6:15pm. If you are in line by 6:15pm, you will be served. However, anyone in line after 6:15pm will be turned away.
