The home baseball game against Richland has been canceled for this evening due to lack of officials. We are working on finding a date to reschedule.

This student has done a great job with his science research paper. He got frustrated but worked through that! I am so proud of him and excited to see him grow.
This student was the King of Awesomeness in Math class today! He was focused on the work and determined to get the problems done well. I am impressed.

Trunk-or-Treat is back! The event will take place on Sunday, October 31 from 5-7 pm, and is being hosted by the Laquey National Honor Society.
Any businesses or individuals that are interested in setting up a trunk or contributing candy or prizes should email Micah Atkins at matkins@laqueyhornets.us or call the high school and use extension 364.
Make sure to respond as soon as possible if you would like to take part. The National Honor Society will compile a list of participants and take it from there.

This student is very good at picking up after herself. She does not leave her stuff on the floor where people will trip over them. When it comes time to do her job (which this month is lights) she makes sure that everyone is safely on the carpet before turning off the lights. In the classroom and in the hallway she uses KAFOOTY. In the classroom she stays in her seat unless called on to leave it.

When the teacher was passing out papers this student said "thank you"! What great manners! "Thank you" for being respectful!

He always hands his work in on time. He takes the time to ask questions when he doesn't understand. He raises his hand to answer questions. He allows those around him to learn by staying quiet while working at his desk. When we learn in groups he allows his partners to also answer questions. Way to show being a learner!
The junior high boys basketball team will play at 5:00 tomorrow and the girls will follow.
